About Ecoscapes.
Growing good food, growing community
On the shores of Lake Naivasha, in 2015, Alexandra and Richard Bell turned to organic farming at Ecoscapes.
What started as a farm growing fine beans for export has become something we’re incredibly proud of—a certified organic farm producing over 100 different herbs, spices, fruits, and vegetables for local tables.
No export containers, no long journeys. Just fresh, organic produce grown for households around Naivasha and Nairobi.

What We Grow.
Our market garden is bursting with variety. Leafy greens, aromatic herbs, seasonal fruits, heirloom vegetables—all grown without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers. We believe food should be honest, and ours is.
Why Organic Matters to Us.
We come from very different backgrounds, but we share a belief that how we grow food matters — for our health, for the soil, and for the people who work alongside us.
Our team isn’t just here to harvest. We teach the why behind organic farming, and many of our employees have brought these practices home to their own plots. That ripple effect? That’s the part we love most.
Beyond the Farm.
Ecoscapes has grown into a sanctuary—literally. We’ve got a nursery with over 300 drought-tolerant plants, glamping on the lake, holiday homes, and a community of residents who share our values. We’re developing courses, hosting farm visits, and building the Ecoscapes Organic Farming Institute to share what we’ve learned.
But at the heart of it all? Still the farm. Still the food. Still the belief that growing well means living well.
