Alexandra (“Alex”) has practised landscape architecture in Kenya since 1996, when she established Ecoscapes as a sole proprietorship. She holds a BSc (Hons) in Horticulture from the University of Reading, England, and a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Georgia, USA. Earlier she worked as a landscape architect at Pickering Firm Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia. She is CEO of Ecoscapes Kenya Ltd.
The over-riding philosophy in Ecoscapes’ designs is creating sustainable, minimal-impact designs that use local materials wherever possible — combining creative design solutions with a rational approach across a wide variety of project types, at the highest level of service.
