A safari tent nestled among the acacia trees at Colobus Camp

Colobus Camp

Luxury under canvas, off the grid

Tucked into a grove of acacia trees overlooking the Ecoscapes wildlife sanctuary, Colobus Camp is luxury under canvas — comfortable, characterful and completely off the grid.

Stylishly furnished with pieces made from up-cycled timber and lit by solar power, the camp lets you step away from everything without giving up any of the comforts of home.

The tents

Four en-suite double tents, each warm and inviting with a private space to unwind. Every tent takes an extra guest on a pull-out bed, so the camp sleeps eight and flexes up to twelve. Step outside to the sounds of the forest and the sanctuary beyond.

The mess tent

At the heart of the camp is the mess tent — the hub of camp life, with easy chairs gathered around the fire and a well-equipped kitchen and dining area alongside.

The outdoor seating circle is the perfect place for a BBQ under the stars or an evening of game-viewing as the sanctuary comes alive.

On the doorstep

Wander the private wildlife sanctuary with our guide, take a boat onto Lake Naivasha from our jetty, or spend the day among the birdlife. Hell’s Gate, Crater Lake and Mount Longonot are all close by.
